The Billy Graham Middle Tennessee Crusade, held June 1-4, 2000, at the Adelphia Coliseum.
About 227,000 people attended the four-day crusade.
The same Metro Fellowship of Pastors helped planned these two events in 2000.
They were greatly impacted by the potential growth of unity in Nashville.
The year was 1999, a citywide church service was held at the Gaylord Entertainment Center on the first Sunday of the new year, January 2, 2000.
“The Gathering” gave the offering ($250,000) to assist the poor . . . the people Christ visits . . .the dying, discouraged and displaced.
